Brighouse shows signs of improvement in C-grade derby
The C-grade Barnstoneworth derby under the lights on Friday night had a bigger margin than the draws in other grades. Against a Brighouse side that improves every week, Denley started the better when a shot from midfielder Dan Hillier copped a solid deflection to open the scoring. Latest round opens under lights at Brabham
The latest C-grade round kicked off under the lights on Friday night at Brabham Stadium. Barnies United and Kinross ground out a nil-all draw until half-time, with subs and supporters shuddering on the sidelines, and Barnies battling to cope with their opponents' extra speed. Barnies striker, Wes Miller opened the scoring ten minutes into the second half, getting onto a well-passed through-ball to find the bottom right-hand corner of the net.

Strong win for A-Grade Barnies FC
Barnstoneworth FC consolidated their spot at the top of the Orange A-Grade football competition with a strong 8-Bloody-1 win over Ex-Services FC. Brighouse keep leaders at bay
Undefeated at the top of the C-Grade table, CYMS Pink kept their record intact with a solid 6-0 win over Brighouse. Showing signs of improvement, Brighouse held last season’s premiers at bay for the first thirty minutes until the flood gates opened. New signing Cino Kurian, made the most of a goal mouth scramble to open the scoring for Denley Moor in their clash with last year’s over 35s premiers Waratahs. In B-Grade it was a top-of-the-table clash when 1st placed Barnstoneworth Rangers came up against 2nd placed CYMS Green on Saturday(11 May).
