Wins for both Barnies B-Grade sides

Currently in 2nd place on the B-grade table, Barnstoneworth Rangers consolidated their position with a strong win over Saints Stars.

(And yes, we know this photo is from the other B-Grade match. The Barnies camera couldn't make it to the Rangers game....)

After a hard, opening twenty minutes of play with only 10 players, Rangers striker Dylan Halls scored a world class screamer, taking the side into the break with the advantage.

Soon after Saints came back with a goal to even it up.

Rangers Manager Tori Worboys was pleased with the way the side lifted in the second half.

“We got back to our strengths when our eleventh man arrived, with a great effort from Dylan Halls who bagged another 2 goals”, Tory Worboys said.

“It was great to see Matt Moore and Brad Fuda notch a goal each to give us the 5-1 victory.” “It was a top effort from the boys this week. We were under strength but played simple, good football.”

Barnies Beyond Blue were also delighted with their 7-0 win over Saints Ignite on Sunday.

The side went away with no less than two hat-tricks from Chris Davis and Aaron Slendor. John Forrest-White scored a single when his cross turned into a well-placed shot.

The decision by Denley player, Shepherd Shambira, to make up the numbers with Saints made a significant contribution to the side's defeat.
