Barnies United make A-Grade semi, despite latest ambulance looming
The last round of the competition pitted Barnies Utd against Orange Ex-Services.
The result had no bearing on the final standings however felt like a semi final game.
Under-strength again, Barnies called on the help of Max Herft and Matt Toedtler to fill-in with manager Chris Jacobs also called in to make an appearance.
With the side's recent history of injuries, Orange Ambulance Services control-room posted a vehicle nearby on Huntley Road to reduce the expected time responding to this week's medical emergencies.

With only 10 minutes remaining Ambulance Officers were preparing to return to base when star striker Mitch Jacobs, turning to chase an Ex-Services defender, 'rolled' his ankle.
Due to the scale of the injury, the game was abandoned and Barnies held onto a one-nil win. Lachie Peet on the score sheet once again after fine lead up work from Bill Foster.
The game was played in great spirits and both managers congratulated the teams on their efforts.

With a crucial semi final match against Cowra looming this week, Barnies were unable to name a team list and will have to wait for the 'Captain's Run' on Friday to confirm the line up.
